Takedown Festival yesterday was a blast and we had a whale of a time opening the Monster Energy stage. Thanks to everyone who came along and boogied with us, thanks to all of the amazing bands who we got to hang with throughout the day.
And a very special thanks to the sound engineer for cruising through his iTunes making a playlist to feature between us and Affiance instead of actually trying to make us sound half decent, well done you useless sack of shit.
Just announced, Red Seas Fire is hitting the UK Tech Metal Fest this year along side some amazing acts like VEIL OF MAYA, TESSERACT, SCAR SYMMETRY, MONUMENTS, SKYHARBOR, EXIVIOUS, and many others.
hosea-ten-twelve asked: Hello again :) Just wondering how you calculated the blending on your Zilla 6x12 Demo video? I noticed 2 V-30's left/right and 2 Cream left/right, did you also calculate and adjust the Db level? (sorry for asking on both, I don't know which you check more frequently) Much Love
I mic’d up one of each speaker, and then I had three audio tracks per side, I copy-pasted the audio recorded of the Creamback into the third audio channel, kept all three channels at the same individual level on each side and bussed all 6 channels into a single fader to control the overall level.
In doing this overall there were two channels of V30, four of Creamback, just as there are in the speaker itself.
